Greg Rome

Greg Rome is an experienced Engineering Support and Senior CAD Specialist with a career spanning over three decades in various engineering and design roles. Currently employed at Modern Railway Systems since March 2010, Greg focuses on communication design drawing packages and assists engineers with a range of specifications including Fiber, Network, Telephone, SCADA, CCTV, Power, Access Control, and Audio. Prior roles include similar engineering support positions at Rail Services LLC and Wink Engineering, LLC, where responsibilities encompassed communication drawings and intricate detail drafting. Greg began the career as an electrical draftsman at several firms, including Freeman & Curiel Engineers, LLP, and EDG, specializing in instrumentation and electrical drafting. Educational qualifications include a certificate in Pipe Drafting, Electrical, and Instrumentation from Louisiana Technical College and an academic background from Archbishop Rummel High School.
