Lynsey Harley has extensive experience in the coffee industry, starting in 2008 as a barista at Corbin & King. Lynsey then worked as a barista trainer and sales support at The Drury Tea & Coffee Co Ltd from 2009 to 2010. Following that, they served as a coffee development manager at United Coffee UK & Ireland from 2010 to 2013, where they focused on green coffee sourcing, new product development, and market insight. From 2013 to 2014, Lynsey worked as a coffee specialist at Falcon Coffees Ltd, handling trading, sample roasting, cupping, and providing technical assistance to roaster clients. In 2015, they founded Modern Standard Coffee, a speciality coffee roaster, and acted as the CEO until the present. Modern Standard Coffee has achieved rapid growth, supplying cafes, restaurants, hotels, offices, and retail. Lynsey is also an active member of the Specialty Coffee Association, serving on the Coffee Roasters Guild - Executive Leadership Council since 2021. Additionally, they are an investor at LHTR Group since 2023.
