Matt O'Halloran

Matt O'Halloran has extensive work experience in various technology-related roles. Their most recent position is as the Chief Technology Officer at Modern Star Pty Ltd, where they started in August 2021. Prior to that, they were the Director of IT at Ascender HCM from April 2016 to August 2021. Matt also worked as a Senior Manager of Infrastructure at MetLife from May 2015 to November 2015 and as the Head of Infrastructure at Toyota Finance Australia Ltd from June 2011 to May 2015. Before that, Matt had multiple roles at George Weston Foods, including Portfolio Manager, Enterprise Infrastructure Manager, IT Operations Manager, and Technical Architect.

Matt O'Halloran completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (eMBA) in General Management from AGSM @ UNSW Business School. Matt attended this program from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications as a Certified SCRUM Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in November 2015 and as a PRINCE2® Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in November 2015.
