Tobias Walters

Tobias Walters is an experienced Flight Test Engineer currently working at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. since August 2025. Walters has an extensive military background with the US Navy Reserve, serving as Commander of the TACRON 21 Reserve Unit and Commander of SEAL Team 18 UAS Reserve Unit, providing operational support for Tactical Air Control. Prior experience includes roles at AVIAN LLC as a UAS and Counter-UAS Developmental Flight Test Engineer, and at CYPHY Works as Project Manager, System Engineer, and Flight Test Engineer. Walters holds a Master of Science in Systems Design and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography from the United States Naval Academy. As a former Naval Aviator, Walters has significant experience in leadership, strategic planning, and operational test planning for unmanned aerial systems in the Navy and Marine Corps.
