Mingxiu Sun

Mingxiu Sun has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They are currently working as a Principal at MVP Ventures. In addition, they hold the role of Co-President at VCPE Club at Harvard Business School. Prior to these positions, Mingxiu was an Investment Intern at Foothill Ventures.

Before entering the venture capital field, Mingxiu worked as a Venture Capital Investor at Lam Research, a leading semiconductor supplier. At Lam Research, they were involved in corporate venture capital activities and supported startups in the hard tech, semiconductor, robotics, climate tech, AIML, and other verticals.

Mingxiu also has experience as a Senior Technical Project Manager at ASML and as a Guest Lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Furthermore, they worked as a Strategy Consultant at Porsche Consulting, focusing on projects related to Industry 4.0 and digitalization. They also served as a Growth Equity Investor at IDG Capital.

Earlier in their career, Mingxiu held the positions of Technical Product Management at Lam Research and Co-founder at AIM Photonics, where they co-founded an Education Semiconductor-Packaging Factory at MIT.

Mingxiu Sun is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Harvard Business School, expected to be completed in 2024. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a full scholarship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). They also have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Although Mingxiu Sun started a PhD program at MIT, they did not complete it and dropped out.
