Melissa Carlson

Melissa Carlson has extensive work experience in marketing and leadership roles. Melissa is currently the Director of Marketing at Modern since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director at Families Helping Families of Iowa, Inc. from January 2019 to January 2023. Melissa also worked at Whole Foods Market as part of their Marketing & Community Relations team from August 2016 to June 2018. Before that, Melissa was the Chamber Manager at Collinsville Chamber of Commerce from September 2014 to August 2016. Melissa began their career as a Marketing Manager at the City of Sand Springs, OK from January 2013 to May 2014.

Melissa Carlson obtained their high school diploma from Charles Page High School from 1990 to 1993. Melissa then pursued higher education at Tulsa Community College from 1993 to 1995, where they completed an associate degree. Melissa continued their academic journey at Northeastern State University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing.
