Farheen Shaikh

Farheen Shaikh is an experienced professional in pharmacovigilance with a career spanning over 18 years in the healthcare industry. Currently serving as the Director-Country Head of Pharmacovigilance for Canada at Moderna since August 2021, Shaikh previously held significant roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals from September 2012 to August 2021, including Director of North American Pharmacovigilance Operations and Associate Director in Canada. Earlier experience includes positions in clinical auditing at Alnoor Hospital and Emirates Hospital, pharmacovigilance roles at Wockhardt Ltd., and medical affairs at Goldshield. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, along with certificate courses in Genetics from Harvard Medical School and Epidemiology from the University of Washington.
