George Acosta

George Acosta is an experienced professional with a robust background in business process and data governance, currently serving as the Director of Business Process and Data Governance at Moderna since September 2021. Prior experience includes roles as National Director of Data Governance at United Natural Foods, where George developed an enterprise data governance program, and various senior vice president positions at Bank of America, focusing on enterprise data management and operations. Acosta has also held significant leadership roles at Smith & Nephew and Ethicon, Inc., managing manufacturing engineering operations and process development. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Acosta holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, a Global MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a certificate in AI Awareness from Carnegie Mellon University.
