John Powers is an accomplished sales leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Currently serving as Associate Director - Key Accounts at Moderna since 2023, John achieved a remarkable 33% market growth for Spikevax and mRESVIA in a declining market, while ranking #1 nationally and earning the Rising Star title for capturing 62% market share for the mRNA Covid-19 Vaccine in its first year. Prior to Moderna, John spent 14 years at Baxter Healthcare as a Hospital Pharmacy Specialist III, where participation in the Executive Committee of the Baxter Business Alliance led to significant scholarship initiatives for aspiring Black medical students.
