M.D. Mahmudul Hasan

Senior Scientist, Translational Immunology at Moderna Therapeutics

Md Mahmudul Hasan, M.S., Ph.D. is an accomplished immunologist currently serving as a Senior Scientist in Translational Immunology at Moderna since August 2022. Prior to this role, Md Mahmudul Hasan was a Scientist II in Translational Medicine (Clinical Immunology) at Asklepios BioPharmaceutical, Inc. from February 2021 to August 2022. At the Mayo Clinic, Md Mahmudul Hasan held the positions of Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Visiting Research Fellow from June 2018 to January 2021, focusing on the characterization of human regulatory B cell subsets in solid organ transplantation. Previous experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the Baylor Institute for Immunology Research, where projects involved innate lymphoid cells in colorectal cancer and human regulatory B cells, as well as serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at the South Carolina Center for Biotechnology on HIV-1 silencing and post-exposure therapy. Md Mahmudul Hasan completed a PhD in Biomedical Studies (Immunology) at Baylor University, a Master of Science in Biotechnology at Claflin University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering at Khulna University.
