Christina Kordova

Project Manager at Modeshift

Christina Kordova has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Christina began their career as a Food and Beverage Assistant/Bartender at Cirque du Soleil in 2012. From there, they worked as a Production and Advertisement Assistant at Just For Laughs/Juste pour rire in 2013. Christina then had a brief research assistant role at LIPHE - Laboratory for Integrated Prototyping and Hybrid Environments in 2014.

In 2015, Christina worked as an Architectural Intern at 3GATTI, where they contributed to the Alter Cube Project. In 2016, they volunteered as a Partnerships Relation Assistant at C2 Montréal, assisting with event preparations and hosting guests.

Christina's experience in the field of architecture continued with a role as an Architect in Interactive Media & Game Technology at IMMERSIVE Design Studios from 2017 to 2018. Christina has also worked with Engineeius as an Instructor in Robotics, teaching and guiding students in STEM programs.

From 2018 to 2021, Christina worked as a Project Manager in AV Operations at Stingray Business, a leading music and media company. In 2022, they pursued diverse opportunities. Christina was a Teacher at an Alternative Educational Space/Primary School, leading workshops and engaging in school activities. Christina also worked as Crew on a Sailing Yacht in Montenegro and held roles as a Hostess, Bar & Kitchen Manager at Ponte Pedra guest house and as General Maintenance Help on a historical Portuguese estate.

Most recently, Christina joined Modeshift in 2023 as a Project Manager.

Christina Kordova began their education journey in 2009 at Dawson College, where they pursued a DEC in Pure and Applied Science until 2011. Christina then moved on to McGill University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Architecture from 2011 to 2014. During their time at McGill, they also obtained a Certificate in Digital Dimensions/Photoshop from Concordia University in 2013.

Continuing their education, Christina pursued a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) at McGill University from 2015 to 2016. As their educational pursuits continued, they obtained additional certifications. In 2013, Christina attained Digital Dimensions - Photoshop (Levels I to IV) certification from Concordia University. Christina later became a LEED® Green Associate in May 2014, certified by the Green Building Commissioning Certification Institute.

Building upon their education, Christina Kordova pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Project Management from McGill University School of Continuing Studies from 2020 to 2021.
