Bina Modi

Dr Bina Modi is the Chairperson of Modi Enterprises. She is taking Mr KK Modi's vision for Modi Enterprises forward and plays a key role in aligning the core leadership team towards the Group’s goals.

In the Group companies, she is the President and Managing Director of Godfrey Phillips India and also the Chairman and Managing Director, Indofil Industries Limited. Dr Bina Modi is also on the CSR Committee of Godfrey Phillips India.

In the past Dr. Bina Modi has served a significant role as Head of Family Council for Modi Enterprises. The Family Council was formed in 2011 to interface between the professional management and the Modi Family - Late Mr. KK Modi, Ms. Charu Modi, Mr. Lalit Modi, and Mr. Samir Modi and broader family members.

A successful entrepreneur herself, Dr. Bina Modi has founded and built several renowned brands; her Bina Fashions has a global market, and Ego Specialty Restaurant Chain, Dessange Salon and Beacon Travels are prominent in their respective industries.

Dr. Bina Modi has been awarded the “Women of the Decade in Business & Leadership 2018” by Women Economic Forum, been conferred with the prestigious Achiever’s Award in 2019 and has also featured on ‘India’s Most Powerful Women’, a book by Prem Ahluwalia.
