Radek Ratajczak has over 15 years of experience in entrepreneurship and project management. Radek was the CEO of SHOPA - Design & Strategy in 2013, where they were responsible for strategy, team management, innovations, and development. Radek was also the Chief Innovation Officer at Passio Group in 2017, where they created and implemented strategies. Radek was the Director of the Regional Innovation Center - Technology Transfer Center at the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz from 2015 to 2017, where they were responsible for technology transfer from university to business and establishing a technology transfer strategy for the university. In 2021, Radek co-founded Modino.io, where they serve as the Chief Design Officer, working towards creating a platform for safe and secure over-the-air updates for IoT devices. Radek also worked at Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) in 2019 as a Project Manager and Content Designer, defining, prototyping, and validating key functionalities of the new Enterprise Europe Network IT Tool. Radek has also worked as a User Experience Expert at Centralny Ośrodek Informatyki in 2018, where they created and developed a new Project Maturity Model for public sector IT. Radek is an Assistant Professor at the University of Economy in Bydgoszcz since 2006 and the President of the board for WycinkiPrasowe.pl LTD, a media monitoring company they co-founded, from 2006 to 2011. Radek has experience in team management, cooperation with universities, support development of over 80 startups, and served as a board member on several companies.
Radek Ratajczak participated in the TOP 500 Innovators programme at Stanford University's Center for Professional Development in 2012. Radek then completed postgraduate studies in Human Resource Management at the University of Economy in Bydgoszcz from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, Ratajczak obtained an M.Sc. in Telecommunications Systems from the University of Technology and Life Science in Bydgoszcz from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained the PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate in Project Management in July 2015 and the PRINCE2® Practitioner Certificate in Project Management in September 2015, both from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
