Georgios N. Yannakakis

Georgios N. Yannakakis has a long and varied work experience. Georgios N. is currently the Editor In Chief at IEEE Transactions on Games, a role they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they were Co-Founder at modl.ai from 2018. From 2012 to 2007, they were a Professor and Associate Professor at the University of Malta. From 2007 to 2005, they were an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at IT University of Copenhagen. From 2005 to 2007, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Southern Denmark.

Georgios N. Yannakakis completed their education history with a 5-Year Diploma in Production Engineering and Management from the Technical University of Crete from 1994 to 1999. Georgios N. then went on to obtain an MSc in Financial Engineering from the same university from 1999 to 2001. Finally, they completed their education with a PhD in Informatics from The University of Edinburgh between 2001 and 2005.
