Sharan Senthilvasan

Sharan Senthilvasan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data engineering, analytics, and management. Currently serving as Senior Manager, Data, Analytics & AI at ModMed since May 2024, Sharan oversees a team dedicated to enhancing a big data and analytics platform, focusing on scalability and performance using PySpark and Databricks. Prior experience at Nielsen from July 2016 to May 2024 includes roles as Senior Manager of Data Engineering, Principal Data Engineer, and Senior Data Engineer, where Sharan led diverse teams and worked on data stacks like AWS and Apache Airflow, while designing and implementing data solutions. Earlier experience includes an IT Data Analyst Intern role at WellCare Health Plans and a Data Science Intern position at Verizon, where Sharan contributed to significant projects in healthcare reimbursement and real-time analytics, respectively.
