Charlie Eardley has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2019, they worked at Carnstone Partners Ltd as a Junior Partner, supporting various projects across sectors such as retail, healthcare, betting and gaming, and NGOs. Charlie'srole focused on research and data analysis, with a specific emphasis on environmental topics. During their time at Carnstone, they compiled and analyzed environmental data for a major betting and gaming company's reports and assisted in filing their 2019 Dow Jones Sustainability Index submission.
In 2019, Charlie also completed an internship at Carnstone Partners Ltd, gaining valuable experience in the field.
From 2019 onwards, Charlie joined Element Energy, where they held multiple roles. Initially, they worked as a Consultant, assisting with various projects. Later, they took on the role of Senior Consultant, specializing in low carbon transport. Charlie became an expert in consumer attitudes towards electric vehicles and led the development of the Electric Car Consumer Model (ECCo), a leading industry tool used by the UK Department for Transport to project GB EV uptake for cars and vans. Charlie also led the deployment and analysis of a consumer choice model, surveying 14,000 new car buyers across Europe, providing valuable insights into EV purchase decisions.
In 2023, Charlie joined Modo Energy as a Data Analyst.
Charlie Eardley began their education at Endon High School from 2007 to 2012. After finishing high school, they attended Westwood College - Leek from 2012 to 2014. Following this, Charlie enrolled at the University of Cambridge and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Sciences from 2014 to 2017. Continuing their academic journey at the University of Cambridge, Charlie pursued a Master of Science (MSci) degree in Earth Sciences from 2017 to 2018.
