Terry Battersby

Terry Battersby has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 1987, Terry worked at Safeway as a Food Clerk, providing general customer service and performing various tasks to support store operations. In 1990, Terry became a Senior Supervisor/Scan Coordinator, where they were responsible for managing the store's product database and handling pricing issues.

In 1998, Terry joined CSC as a Senior Programmer/Analyst, developing web applications using ColdFusion, Oracle, and Sybase. They also gained project management and technical team leadership experience in this role. Terry received recognition for the quality and timeliness of their customer communications.

In 2005, Terry transitioned to Western Asset Management as a Web Application Developer. They leveraged their skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) to develop sophisticated financial reports using ColdFusion, CFCs, DHTML, and Oracle Stored Procedures. Terry quickly became a respected contributor to the team.

Also in 2005, Terry joined Raytheon as a Business Systems Operations Manager & Support Analyst. They led a team responsible for ensuring the integrity of business applications and collaborated effectively with geographically dispersed teams. Terry frequently led projects to migrate legacy applications into modern, sustainable enterprise web applications.

Most recently, Terry worked at Modo as a Senior Application Support Engineer starting in 2017. They were responsible for the production support function and ensured timely and effective response to customer requests. Terry added value to the team by implementing proper procedures and staffing to meet customer support commitments.

Throughout their work experience, Terry has demonstrated strong technical expertise, project management skills, effective communication, and a customer-focused approach. They have consistently contributed to their respective teams and have a reputation for being adaptable, flexible, and willing to learn.

Terry Battersby pursued their education from 1989 to 1997 at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Computer Information Systems.
