Pekko Sipilä

Pekko Sipilä is the R&D Director at Modulight Corporation, bringing over 20 years of experience in R&D management, project management, and product development. They have successfully managed five consecutive FPGA projects that contributed to early commercial 5G mobile launches and led a team of 45 in developing Passenger Information Systems for the rail industry. Pekko has also held various managerial roles at Nokia and Teleste Corporation, focusing on project management for digital headend development and fostering team development and quality assurance. With a background in optoelectronics, Pekko holds a Master’s degree in Semiconductor Physics and Microelectronics from Tampere University of Technology.
