Elena Maran has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Elena is currently the Global Head of Financial Services at Modulos AG, where they are responsible for driving growth and establishing partnerships. Their focus is on leveraging Data-Centric AI to enhance efficiency and business growth in the financial industry while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Prior to their current role, Elena worked as a Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking at China Construction Bank Corporation in Zürich from 2017 to 2020. Elena then joined Citi in 2015 as a Relationship Manager for Corporate Clients and later moved on to a role in Fixed Income Risk Solutions, where they specialized in UK and Italy Corporate Coverage. In addition, Elena worked as a Financial Engineer at Citi, where they engineered new products tailored to retail clients' needs and assessed risk profiles.

Elena also gained experience at Morgan Stanley as an Institutional Sales representative in 2008 and as a Summer Analyst at Lehman Brothers in the same year.

Elena Maran has an extensive education history. In 2020-2021, they attended IE Business School, where they pursued an Executive Master's degree in Digital Transformation and Innovation Leadership. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2009, they studied at Università Bocconi and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance. In 2006-2007, Elena participated in an exchange program at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on Business Administration. Their undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics and Finance, was acquired from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna between 2003 and 2006.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Elena Maran has also acquired additional certifications. In May 2022, they completed the Sandler Foundations Program at Sandler Training. Furthermore, in October 2021, Elena obtained a certification in Cybersecurity Foundations from LinkedIn.
