Gurpreet Singh Rehal

Gurpreet Singh Rehal has worked in the software development field since 2013. Gurpreet Singh began their career as a Software Developer Co-Op at Piford Technologies Pvt Ltd, where they built, tested, and deployed scalable modular software for an online parking system. Gurpreet Singh also performed software quality assurance at all phases of the software development life cycle. After four years, they moved to MindGeek, where they held two roles: Software QA and SQA Tester. In their Software QA role, they were involved in gathering and understanding project scope, project plan, project goals, business and functional requirement documents, and reviewed and contributed to test plans. Gurpreet Singh also analyzed, reviewed, and assessed requirements and design specifications. In their SQA Tester role, they were proficient in test case execution and bug tracking using JIRA, had sound knowledge of Probiller, Probiller MCP, Adultforce, and Jenkins, and worked knowledge of Jenkins for running automated scripts. Currently, Gurpreet is a QA Specialist at Modulus Data.

Gurpreet Singh Rehal holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Punjab Technical University, which they earned from 2009 to 2013. Gurpreet Singh then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Concordia University, which they completed between 2014 and 2016. In 2021, they obtained three additional certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS): AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and AWS Certified Developer - Associate.
