Ashok Shelke

Ashok Shelke has a diverse work experience in various roles related to infrastructure platform engineering and DevOps. Ashok is currently serving as an Infrastructure Platform Engineer at ModusBox, where they have implemented cost-saving measures on AWS, supported client onboarding, designed and implemented continuous integration and development pipelines, and worked on Docker containers.

Prior to their current position, Ashok worked as a DevOps Engineer at ControlCase from 2017 to 2021. Their responsibilities included AWS expertise, OS provisioning and patching, Terraform implementation, CI/CD, LDAP and VPN configuration, monitoring tools, centralized logging, orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, configuration management with Puppet, SSM, and Ansible, server migration to AWS cloud, Nginx and Apache server configuration, automated sysadmin tasks with bash, and handling security audits.

Before joining ControlCase, Ashok worked as a Linux System Administrator at ASM Technologies Ltd from 2015 to 2017, where they managed a large number of servers hosted in the Reliance data center. Ashok was responsible for system administration, patching servers, automation of tasks, package management, and troubleshooting network administration.

Ashok's earlier experience includes working as a Linux Administrator at KG Software from 2013 to 2015. Their responsibilities included working with various Linux/Unix platforms, file system management, user and group administration, disk management with Logical Volume Manager (LVM), and configuration with Cron scheduler.

Ashok Shelke completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Telecommunication from Savitribai Phule Pune University, graduating in 2012. Prior to that, they attended Sripathrao Bhosale Highschool in Osmanabad from 2006 to 2008 for their HSC degree. Additionally, they pursued their SSC education at MSV, Ter in Osmanabad.
