Pär Hallgren

Pär Hallgren has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Pär has held positions at Modvion, Lean Marine Sweden AB (now part of Yara Marine Technologies), Maersk Group, Caterpillar Inc., Berg Propulsion Technology AB, Qatar Science & Technology Park, CIP Chalmers University of Technology, Presens AS, Army Fitness, and the Swedish Armed Forces.

At Modvion, Pär currently serves as the Head of Sales/Procurement, taking on the responsibility of overseeing sales and procurement activities. Prior to this role, they worked as a Business Developer at Modvion.

During their time at Lean Marine Sweden AB, Pär held multiple roles including Operations Manager, Business Development Manager, and Project Manager - SaaS Product Development. Pär managed various aspects of the company's operations, sales, product development, customer success, and procurement.

At Maersk Group, Pär served as a Senior Category Manager, responsible for managing top tier suppliers within Power & Propulsion. Pär utilized their relational capabilities to secure new framework agreements between Maersk and suppliers.

At Caterpillar Inc., Pär held the positions of Global Purchasing Manager, Project Manager - Design Automation, and Strategic Purchaser. Pär led the global purchasing team, achieved cost savings, managed multinational teams, and played a key role in the integration activities after the acquisition by Caterpillar.

Pär also has experience at Berg Propulsion Technology AB as a Configuration Specialist - Sales process, Qatar Science & Technology Park as a Business Analyst - Patent landscaping, CIP Chalmers University of Technology as a Student, Presens AS as an Intern, Army Fitness as an Instructor, and the Swedish Armed Forces as a Transport/Supply Platoon Leader.

Throughout their career, Pär has demonstrated skills in sales, procurement, operations management, business development, project management, strategic purchasing, and analysis.

Pär Hallgren began their education journey in 2002 at the Naval Academy, where they pursued officer's training until 2004. Following this, they enrolled in Chalmers University of Technology from 2004 to 2010, earning their M.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. Additionally, in 2008, they had a brief academic experience at National Chiao Tung University, focusing on the Management of Technology field.
