Nicole Zhang

A serial entrepreneur, international businesswoman, and student of style, Nicole was inspired to create MODwedding based on her personal experiences with friends who were getting married. She noticed that brides and grooms, who usually kept their friends up-to-date via Facebook and Twitter, were unable to share information about their wedding festivities because online resources were sparse and much of the planning and communication with guests was taking place offline. Looking to fill that gap, Nicole is working with co-founder Alex Hsiao to launch MODwedding.com in the spring of 2010.

Nicole has previously held positions at Tyson International Trading Group, LLC and Impero Inc. Both firms specialized in the international import and export business. During her tenure, Nicole focused on securing influential contacts and experienced business networks in China. The Impero business, which imported and exported specialty and hardwood flooring, was sold in 2008.
