Irene Zhang

Irene Zhang is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in tax strategy and advisory roles. As the Managing Director and Global Head of Tax at Moelis & Company since March 2011, Irene leads the global tax function for a publicly traded investment bank and its asset management affiliate, overseeing a successful IPO and growth strategy. Irene also serves as CFO of the Investment Screening Committee for Wharton Alumni Angels, fostering entrepreneurship and investment within the University of Pennsylvania community. Previously, Irene held key positions at EY and Deloitte, specializing in tax advisory for private equity and corporate transactions. Irene holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a Master's degree in Tax Law/Taxation from the Zicklin School of Business.
