Jeff Raich is a Co-Founder and Executive Vice Chairman at Moelis & Company, where he plays a key role in managing the investment banking business and driving strategic growth initiatives for the Firm. He was previously Co-President of Moelis where he was instrumental in building the Firm’s private equity and M&A business globally. Under his leadership, the franchises have advised on more than 400 assignments globally, representing over $700 billion in value. Jeff has over 35 years of investment banking experience.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Jeff held leadership roles at UBS Investment Bank including Joint Global Head of M&A, where he established UBS’s Exclusive Sales and Divestitures Group. Before UBS, Jeff was Head of West Coast Mergers and Acquisitions at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He began his investment banking career at PaineWebber.
Jeff holds a B.S. with Distinction in Commerce from The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia (Beta Gamma Sigma). He is a member of the McIntire School of Commerce Advisory Board at the University of Virginia, a Board Member of the UCLA Health System and Co-Chair of the Lung Health Advisory Board at UCLA. Jeff also serves on The Posse Foundation National Board of Directors and the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR) Board of Directors.
