Mark Aedy

Mark Aedy is a Managing Director and the Head of EMEA and Asia Investment Banking at Moelis & Company. Mark has over 25 years of experience in investment banking. Prior to joining Moelis, they were with British Land.

Aedy started their career in 1987 as a Managing Director at NatWest Markets. Mark then moved to Bankers Trust/Deutsche Bank in 1995 and held the same position. In 2000, they joined Merrill Lynch as Managing Director, Head of Industrials for EMEA. Mark was later promoted to Head of Investment Banking for EMEA in 2007. Aedy left Merrill Lynch in 2009 to join Moelis & Company.

At Moelis, Aedy has advised on some of the largest and most complex transactions in the firm’s history. Mark has also been involved in several high profile IPOs including that of Saudi Aramco.

Mark Aedy has a BA Hons from Durham University.

They are on a team with Zaid Abdul-Aleem - Managing Director, Ben Axelrod - Managing Director, and Alan Aberg - Managing Director. Mark Aedy reports to Ken Moelis, Chairman & CEO.
