John Mauro is a Research Analyst and Co-Founding Partner at Moerus Capital Management LLC. Mr. Mauro has over 17 years of global investment research experience, during which he has evaluated investment opportunities across a wide range of industries and geographic markets. Prior to joining Moerus, Mr. Mauro worked alongside Amit Wadhwaney and Michael Campagna as an investment research analyst at Third Avenue Management LLC, where he joined the investment team in 2003.
Mr. Mauro holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, where he was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Fordham University, where he graduated summa cum laude. Mr. Mauro is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.
