Max Nuttall

Max Nuttall currently serves as the Head of Derivatives and Market Analytics at CEPSA since April 2021. Prior to this role, Nuttall held various leadership positions at bp from December 2011 to December 2020, including Head of Structured Products and Commercial Strategy, where responsibility included overseeing BP's global oil and gas customer price-risk management and trading strategy. Nuttall's extensive experience at bp spans over two decades, featuring roles such as Chief Operating Officer for North American Gas and Power in Calgary, Head of Trading for European Gas & Power, and the creation of a global chemicals trading business to enhance market liquidity and price risk management. Nuttall began the career at bp as a graduate and progressed through varied positions including Trader and Business Development Manager, establishing significant expertise in energy derivatives and commercial strategy. Nuttall holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Surrey.
