Benedikt Iltisberger

Benedikt Iltisberger has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Benedikt is currently a Co-Founder at mogenius, a position they have held since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Handelsblatt Media Group from June 2020 to May 2021, where they held the roles of Director Software Development / Chief Architect, Head of App Development, and Software Architect. Benedikt also worked as a Consultant Mobile Software Development at Acando from March 2013 to July 2014, and as a Developer Mobile Applications at Orbit GmbH from September 2011 to March 2013.

Benedikt Iltisberger began their educational journey in 2003 by enrolling in an apprenticeship program in Computer Science at Berufskolleg Volksgartenstraße Mönchengladbach. Benedikt completed this apprenticeship in 2005. Following that, they pursued another apprenticeship in Computer Science at the same institution, which lasted from 2005 to 2006.

In 2006, Iltisberger, with a strong foundation in Computer Science, decided to further their education by enrolling at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. Benedikt pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science and successfully completed their studies in 2009.

In 2008, Iltisberger briefly attended the University of Helsinki, where they focused on the field of Design of Safe and Reliable Technical Systems. This experience likely provided him with a different perspective and a broader understanding of technical systems outside of Computer Science.

With their bachelor's degree in hand, Iltisberger returned to Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences in 2009 to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science. Benedikt completed their master's degree program in 2011.

During their masters' studies, Iltisberger also had the opportunity to spend a year at York University, where they earned a second Master of Science degree in Computer Science in 2011.
