Hernan Chacon

Hernan Chacon's work experience includes serving as a Project Data Lead at MoGi Group since October 2022. In this role, they utilize data science and statistics to predict and explain trends and behaviors of players, support agents, and processes for a mobile game. Prior to this, from February 2020 to September 2022, they worked as a Data Agent at the same company, where they contributed to the development of models and conclusions that helped the client.

Before joining MoGi Group, Hernan worked as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Vinedos Y Bodegas Las Pircas Limitada from May 2016 to February 2019. In this role, they managed the finance and administration processes of the Bottled Division and played a significant role in shaping the division's growth.

From August 2013 to May 2016, Hernan worked as a Control & Management Plane Fleet Analysis Engineer at LATAM Airlines. Here, they prepared reports, controlled costs, and developed budgets for the Fleet Vice Presidency, ultimately achieving a 20% cost reduction through their meticulous budget management.

Hernan Chacon has a diverse educational background. Hernan obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Analytics: Discovery Informatics & Data Sciences from Rutgers University, starting in 2021 and finishing in 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Business/Managerial Economics at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile from 2011 to 2013. Hernan also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the same institution, which they completed from 2005 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Hernan Chacon has also acquired additional certifications. Hernan obtained the certification in "Microsoft Power BI Desktop for Business Intelligence" from Udemy in July 2022. Similarly, in July 2022, they obtained another certification in "SQL - MySQL for Data Analytics and Business Intelligence" from the same institution (Udemy).
