Marius Barys

Marius Barys, CFA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Africa and Central Asia at Eleving Group since October 2018. Previous experience includes roles such as Partner and Fund Manager at MUNDUS Asset Management from October 2014 to March 2018, and Acting Head and Deputy Head of the Governance Coordination Centre from September 2012 to October 2014. Marius has held various positions in the financial sector, including Project Manager at Invest Lithuania and Chairman of the Board at AB Giraitės ginkluotės gamykla. Marius has a strong background in financial analysis and real estate, having advised on large-scale commercial transactions and conducted due diligence. Educational qualifications comprise a CFA Charterholder from the CFA Institute, an M.Sc. in Financial Economics from Maastricht University, and a B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola. Additionally, Marius is affiliated with the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance since 2014.
