Conor Daly, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of ophthalmology and neuroscience. Conor is currently employed as a Scientist at Mogrify since 2023. Conor'sprevious role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at University College Dublin (2018-2019) involved testing patented compounds for dry eye disease and developing lead drugs for clinical trials. Conor also gained experience as a Research Scientist at UCD Conway Institute of Biomolecular & Biomedical Research (2017-2018) and conducted their PhD research (2013-2017) on discovering pharmaceutical treatments for retinal degenerations using zebrafish models of disease. Conor possesses a wide range of technical skills, including advanced imaging and gene editing techniques, and has engaged in teaching and dissemination activities. Additionally, Conor completed the SFI Spark Pre-Accelerator Programme, which equipped him with skills in entrepreneurship, business pitching, and intellectual property and strategy.

Conor Daly, PhD, pursued their education in the field of pharmacology and genetics. Conor completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Genetics and Cell Biology from Dublin City University for the duration of 2007 to 2011. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree with a specialization in Pharmacology and Genetics from University College Dublin, completing it from 2013 to 2017.
