Steve Cook

Steve Cook is a Professor at Mohawk College, where they teach and develop curriculum related to internet, computer, and fraud in the Justice Studies program. They possess extensive experience in criminal investigations, having served as a Detective and Sergeant with the Hamilton Police Service for 31 years, focusing on major fraud cases and other serious crimes. Additionally, they worked as an Investigator for Intact Financial Corporation, assessing the legitimacy of insurance claims. Since 2015, Steve has also served as a Union Steward for OPSEU Local 240, providing support and guidance to union members. Steve holds degrees from McMaster University, Mohawk College, and the Ontario Police College, and is currently studying Financial Investigation at the Canadian Police College.
