Andrew Fiumano has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Fire Investigator at Schenectady County since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Assistant Fire Chief for SCHONOWE VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY from 2021 until their current position. Andrew also held various other roles in the fire department, including Fire Captain and Lieutenant. In 2022, they worked as the Director of Humane Law Enforcement at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society. Andrew Fiumano attended several schools and training programs throughout their education history. In 2017, they completed the SATCOM Operations program at United States Army Signal School. Prior to that, in 2014, they attended the United States Air Force Civilian Police Academy. The year before, from 2013 to 2014, Andrew attended the US Army MP School, where they studied Law Enforcement. In 2010, they completed the Peace Officer Academy.

Andrew also obtained several certifications. Andrew received Aquatic Death and Homicidal Drowning Investigations certification from Lifeguard Systems Inc in 2018. In 2017, they obtained the General Topics Instructor certification from the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Fire Investigations, Law Enforcement M4 Operators Course, and Basic Course for Peace Officers in 2014, 2013, and 2010 respectively. Other certifications include Basic Course for Police from the Department of Defense and EMT-B from the New York State Department of Health, although the years of completion are unknown.
