Founded in 1887, the Society is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization funded primarily by donations. There are many ways to get involved in helping us fulfill our mission and we encourage community members to learn about our volunteer and corporate sponsorship and involvement opportunities. Please contact us to come for a tour of our beautiful Animal Care Center in Menands, which opened in 2017. We're doing amazing things for animals and those who love them, and YOU can be part of it!
