Alejandro Mier

Alejandro Mier is an experienced professional in manufacturing and quality management, currently serving as Plant General Manager at Mohawk Industries since March 2021, where responsibilities include the launch and growth of the Mexicali plant's SPC flooring production lines. Previously, Alejandro held various roles at Closure Systems International from September 1999 to September 2020, including Quality and OpEx Director for México and Costa Rica and multi-site Plant Manager, contributing to the improvement of quality and operational efficiency. Alejandro began the career at John Deere from April 1996 to September 1999, progressing through positions such as Quality Engineer and Product Support Coordinator. Alejandro holds a Master of Science in Quality Systems from Universidad Iberoamericana Torreón and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from TECNM Instituto Tecnológico de Saltillo.
