Jim Williams

Jim Williams serves as the Senior Director of Technology, Environmental Compliance, and Corporate Labs for Flooring North America at Mohawk Industries since March 2019. With an extensive background in the flooring and chemical industries, Jim held several key positions at Mohawk Industries from 2005 to 2018, including Technology Director for US Resilient Flooring and Sr. Director of Research & Development focusing on process chemistry and sustainability. Prior to Mohawk, Jim was the Bio-polyamides Market Development Director at Cathay Biotech Inc. and accumulated significant experience at Monsanto/Solutia over a 20-year period. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Birmingham-Southern College.
