Ashawna Abbott

Ashawna Abbott possesses extensive experience in environmental education and therapeutic recreation. Currently serving as the Environmental Education Outreach Coordinator at Mohonk Preserve since August 2021, Ashawna manages various educational outreach programs and facilitates activities for diverse audiences, including K-7 students. Prior roles include Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at Green Chimneys, where Ashawna developed and implemented therapeutic recreation programs, and Therapeutic Recreation Intern, focusing on youth emotional and social support.
