Carrera Halwachs has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2008 as a Laboratory Technician at IEH Inc. In 2010, they moved to Kulshan Veterinary Hospital as a Laboratory Technician and Small Animal Assistant. In 2013, they worked as a Veterinary Technician at Animal Emergency Care and a Clinical Andrologist at Overlake Reproductive Health. In 2014, they became a Diagnostic Sales Manager and Field Support Representative at Heska Corporation. In 2017, they took on the role of Lead Technician at Olympia Veterinary Specialists. In 2018, they became a Sales and Marketing Manager at Phoenix Lab. In 2020, they took on the role of Brand Manager at Zoetis Inc., and in 2022, they became a Regional Diagnostic Sales Manager at Moichor.

Carrera Halwachs received a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from Linfield University between 2005 and 2007.
