During this vitally important stage of life, young adults are often making major decisions about their careers, community and future families. Relationships are what matter most to young adults, and Moishe House utilizes a peer-led and home-based community building model, which plays a key role in connecting young adults to each other and the Jewish community. The programs and communities Moishe House’s leaders create are helping to make this unique stage of life filled with relevant and positive Jewish experiences and milestones. Using highly successful models built around individual Moishe Houses themselves – as well as through Moishe House Without Walls and the immersive Jewish Learning experiences – Moishe House collectively impacts and enriches emerging adults, ensuring that they find a Jewish pathway into adulthood. Moishe House reaches approximately 45,000 unique young adults in more than 25 countries annually around the world. By employing their own social networks, homes, leadership skills and individual personalities, Moishe House leaders pack their events with other young adults who are looking to connect in a relatable and meaningful way. Participants show up because they genuinely want to socialize with other young adults like themselves — to be a part of a Jewish community. In this way, Moishe House sows the seeds for a strong, continuing Jewish community, inspiring young adults to maintain Jewish homes of their own and serve as leaders in their community. Moishe House utilizes three primary models to engage a broad base, while also ensuring that its young adult participants get experiences that are both frequent and meaningful.
