Alejandro Barrera

Alejandro Barrera has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Alejandro currently holds the position of Vice President & Head of Supply Chain at M8 Pharmaceuticals, Inc, which they started in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at UCB where they held various roles including Head of US Supply Chain, Head of US Distribution and Trade Compliance, Sr. Manager of US Distribution and Operations Support, Supply Chain Manager for both the US and Mexican affiliates, and Controller for the Mexican affiliate. Before their time at UCB, they worked as a Financial Controller at Cognis and a Sr. Financial Planning Analyst at Fuller México. Alejandro began their career as a Controller Jr. at Nestle S.A. in 1995.

Alejandro Barrera's education history began in 1992 when they attended Universidad Tecnológica de México and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Public Accountant. Alejandro then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Economics and Finance Engineering from Universidad La Salle, A.C. between 2001 and 2003. In 2008, Alejandro attended APICS and achieved a CPIM degree in Planning and Inventory Management. Later in the same year, they also received a CSCP degree in Supply Chain Professional from APICS. In 2010, Alejandro studied Managerial Skills at Tecnológico de Monterrey, and in 2011, they focused on Distribution at Corporate Resources Management.
