Peter Takats

Peter Takats has a robust background in engineering and management within the oil and gas sector, with extensive experience at MOL Group since April 2006, where roles have included E&P Engineering Solutions Lead and E&P Head of Production & Facility Engineering. Takats has been instrumental in developing surface technology processes and providing technical support for various E&P activities. Previous positions include US Production Technology Manager and Upstream Leader expert, focusing on surface facility development and operational challenges. Takats's career began in the field of upstream surface facilities engineering, marked by earlier roles at MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas Co. and the Danube Refinery. Academically, Takats holds a Specialist Engineer degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Miskolc and degrees in Energy Economics and Energy Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
