Guy Hunt

Guy Hunt has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of archaeology. Guy is currently serving as the Chief Executive at MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Infrastructure (Interim) at MOLA from June 2022 to May 2023.

Before joining MOLA, Guy Hunt was associated with L - P : Archaeology for over two decades. Guy played a crucial role in rebuilding L - P : Archaeology as an LLP in 2011 and became a Designated Member of the new business. As a Partner and Archaeologist at L - P : Archaeology, Guy set a strong vision for the company's future, which led to the achievement of the best archaeological results and industry-leading conditions for their archaeologists. Guy'sfocus was on client satisfaction and organic growth through repeat business and recommendations. During their tenure, they worked on various fieldwork and excavation projects, as well as supported digital projects.

Additionally, Guy Hunt was a founder and company director at L - P : Archaeology from April 1999 to July 2011. Guy undertook diverse projects, including fieldwork, excavation, work involving archaeology and photography, and digital projects.

At the early stage of their career, Guy worked as an Assistant Archaeologist at Lawson Price for a brief period in March 1999.

Guy Hunt attended UCL from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a BA degree in Archaeology. In addition to their degree, they also obtained the certifications of Fellow (FSA) from the Society of Antiquaries of London in November 2022 and Member (MCIfA) from the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists in August 2008.
