Mihail Iovu

Mihail Iovu has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Mihail began their career as an Accountant at the Savings and Loan Association in 2002. Mihail later worked as a Senior Economist at the National Bank of Moldova and as an Internal Auditor at ProCredit Bank. From 2006 to 2008, they were an Internal Audit Consultant at Business & Finance Consulting. Mihail then joined BC Mobiasbanca - Groupe Societe Generale SA in 2008, where they held various roles in risk management and operations, including Deputy Head of Risk Management Department and Head of Operational Risk and Credit Risk Monitoring Section. In 2011, they moved to Societe Generale, where they worked in Operational Risks, Business Continuity, and Crisis Management until 2014. Mihail then returned to BC Mobiasbanca - Groupe Societe Generale SA as the Head of Project Management Department and later as the Chief Operations Officer. In 2019, they joined Mobiasbanca - OTP Group S.A. as their Chief Operations Officer. Currently, they are working at Moldindconbank in the same role.

Mihail Iovu earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Academia de Studii Economice din Moldova, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Banking at the same institution, completing their studies between 2004 and 2005.
