Angeline Lim

Senior Applications Scientist, Imaging & Automation at Molecular Devices

Angeline Lim has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Angeline started their career in 2001 as a System Administrator at the National University of Singapore. In 2004, they worked as a Marketing Executive Assistant at Avnet Asia before transitioning to being a High Throughput Sequencing Technician at the Genome Institute Singapore later that year. Lim then moved on to IBN in 2005, where they worked as a Research Technician.

In 2007, Lim joined UC Santa Cruz as a Graduate Student and continued their research work as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar from 2014 to 2020. During this time, they gained valuable experience in the field of research.

In 2018, Lim began their career at Molecular Devices as an Application Scientist in Tech Support. Angeline then progressed to the role of Imaging Application Scientist in 2020, and they are currently working as a Senior Applications Scientist in Imaging & automation since April 2022.

With their extensive background in various scientific positions, Angeline Lim brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role at Molecular Devices.

Angeline Lim received their education from 1997 to 1999 at St Andrew's Junior College, where they pursued Science and completed their Cambridge GCE 'A' Levels. In 2000, they joined the National University of Singapore and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. Following this, Angeline proceeded to the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Cell and Developmental Biology. This program spanned from 2007 to 2014.
