Celeste Kirby Glazer has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles in the biotechnology and life sciences industry.
Celeste started their career at Genome Therapeutics as a Scientist II in 1997, followed by a role as an Associate Scientist at DNAX Research Institute from 1999 to 2001.
Afterwards, they joined Caliper Technologies as an R&D Scientist I from 2001 to 2003, where they worked on evaluating and testing reagents on a novel prototype instrument.
In 2003, Glazer moved to Cell Biosciences as a Scientist, focusing on research and development and protein analysis.
In 2005, Glazer joined Wako Diagnostics as a Sales Representative and later took on progressively more senior positions, such as Product Specialist, Product Manager, and Marketing Manager, with responsibilities in marketing and product management.
In 2010, they joined Labcyte as an Applications Scientist, where they evaluated and developed applications for Labcyte products, with a particular focus on miniaturizing genomic assays.
Finally, Glazer joined Molecular Devices in 2013, where they held several roles such as Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, Senior Manager of BioResearch, Director of Product Marketing, Director of Global Marketing, and most recently, Vice President of Global Marketing and Product Management. Their responsibilities at Molecular Devices included overseeing strategic roadmaps, leading marketing teams, and improving messaging to drive market share and growth.
Celeste Kirby Glazer began their education at Santa Clara University from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After completing their undergraduate studies, they then attended Boston College from 1995 to 1997 to further their education. During this time, Celeste obtained a Master of Science degree in Biology.
