Eric Hornstein

Eric Hornstein, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Eric currently holds the position of Senior Director, Engineering and Scientific Technical Support Services at Molecular Devices since February 2017. Prior to this, they worked as a Biotechnology Professional at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in 2016-2017.

Hornstein has had multiple roles at Molecular Devices, including Senior Director, Custom Solutions Business and Product Support Engineering from June 2013 to November 2015, Director, Global Manufacturing Engineering from December 2010 to June 2013, Director, NPI Engineering from December 2006 to December 2010, Manager, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering in 2006, and Senior Process Scientist from December 2004 to January 2006.

Before joining Molecular Devices, Hornstein served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco from 1998 to 2004.

Eric Hornstein, Ph.D. completed their education in Vision Science (Neuroscience) with a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. Eric attended this institution from 1991 to 1998. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1991, they pursued their undergraduate studies in Bioengineering at Syracuse University, where they obtained a B.S. degree.
