Guillaume Frugier

European Applications Scientists Manager, Imaging at Molecular Devices

Guillaume Frugier has a strong background in the field of imaging, having worked for Molecular Devices for over 10 years. Guillaume started in 2010 as a European Field Application Scientist, providing technical sales and applications support for Molecular Devices' High-Content Microscopy and Analysis platforms. Guillaume was responsible for pre- and post-sales support for various imaging instruments. In 2018, Guillaume advanced to the role of European Applications Scientist Supervisor, overseeing a team of scientists and guiding them in their roles. As of May 2021, they hold the position of European Applications Scientists Manager, Imaging, where they manage a team of European Applications Scientists and oversees imaging-related projects and activities. Prior to their time with Molecular Devices, Guillaume worked as a Research Fellow in Neurosciences at University College London from 2007 to 2010.

Guillaume Frugier completed their education in the field of Neurosciences and Pharmacology. Guillaume started with a Master's degree in Neuropsychopharmacology and Addictions (industry) from the Université de Bordeaux in 2001, followed by a Master's degree in Neuroscience and Pharmacology (research) in 2002, also from the Université de Bordeaux. Guillaume then pursued a Ph.D. degree in Neurosciences and Pharmacology from 2003 to 2007 at the same institution.
