Joe Feril

Joe Feril has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in different companies. Joe started their career at Adaptec in 1995, where they worked as a Test Specialist Lead until 2001. In this role, they were responsible for troubleshooting and testing SCSI PCBs and Raid controllers, delegating duties to other technicians, and performing product troubleshooting.

Following their time at Adaptec, Joe joined Molecular Devices in 2001. Joe held various positions within the company, starting as a Senior Test Technician Lead and later transitioning to the role of Production Supervisor. In these roles, they supervised test technicians, ensured on-time delivery and product quality, and developed methods and metrics for productivity, cost reduction, and quality.

Joe's career progression continued at Molecular Devices, where they became a Production Manager from 2007 to 2015. In this role, they managed and planned personnel and production cells to meet on-time delivery, utilized lean tools to eliminate waste and create standard work, and led Kaizen events for quality improvement.

From 2007 until the present, Joe served as a Production and Warehouse Manager at Molecular Devices. In this position, they managed 12 personnel and 3 production cells, facilitated Kaizen events, ensured proper resource utilization through cross-training, and coordinated all aspects of personnel performance, staffing, training, and discipline within the department. Joe also managed warehouse operations, logistics, and inbound/outbound shipments to ensure accurate inventories and meet customer demands.

Throughout their career, Joe has demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills, and a focus on continuous improvement. Joe has contributed to the successful implementation of process improvements, the insourcing of product cells, and the development of new production procedures. Overall, Joe's work experience showcases their ability to effectively manage teams, drive operational efficiency, and achieve financial goals.

Joe Feril attended Heald College from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Electronics Technology.
