Mike C. Liu

Mike Liu is an accomplished professional in the fields of bioengineering and medical device development, currently serving as the Head of Operations and Product Development Lead at Molecular Instruments since July 2018. In this role, Mike has focused on building capabilities in manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and technology innovation. Prior experience includes positions at 1Co, Inc. as Technology Lead and Operations Manager, where Mike managed the development of multiple implantable medical devices, and at Alcon as a Principal Engineer, overseeing next-generation intraocular lens projects. Additional engineering roles at Medtronic and Intevac involved significant contributions to FDA Class III medical devices and CMOS image sensors. Mike's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Caltech and a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
